Mighty Oaks Breakfast, After School and Holiday Clubs

Our mission at Mighty Oaks is to provide superb play opportunities for children. Play builds self esteem; leadership; creativity; resilience in problem solving; develops interpersonal skills, communication and teamwork; engenders flexibility and adaptability. All of these soft skills create the foundations for strong mental health through childhood and into adulthood.

But, of course, play is also a lot of fun. We are proud of the fact that many people use Mighty Oaks not due to childcare needs but because the children want to have fun and the parents recognise the benefits. We constantly strive to maintain and improve the play experiences we offer.

Mighty Oaks Management Team

Miles Guerrini, Club Founder and Owner

Mighty Oaks was founded by Miles Guerrini in 2005 shortly after taking over Acorns Nursery School, in Cirencester with his wife Helen. Miles trained and worked as a teacher before training as an actor and performing roles in London's West End and internationally. Miles has six siblings, most much younger than he, so has been involved in child care and entertainment since being 'knee high to a grass hopper'.

Hannah Gleed, General Manager

Mighty Oaks was one of Hannah's first jobs. She started working for a few three hour shifts but quickly proved she was packed with energy for delivering a variety of activities for children and wasn't afraid of the cleanup job either. Hannah has a sharp mind and can spin several plates at once when under pressure. Consequently, she has worked herself up to a full-time job in the clubs and has become part of the management team.
